Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated June 2026
Working draft. For internal and legal review only — not yet in force and not legal advice.
This policy applies to everyone who uses the platform — contributors who record, and AI teams who license datasets. Breaking these rules can result in rejected work, withheld pay, or account termination.
For contributors
- Record only your own voice — or, in a conversation room, the voice of someone who has separately consented to being recorded.
- No sensitive personal information in recordings— do not speak real full names, addresses, government IDs, payment-card numbers, account passwords, or health/financial details, whether yours or anyone else’s.
- No recording of non-consenting third parties, and no recording where doing so would be unlawful where you are.
- No fraud or manipulation — no bots, synthetic or AI-generated audio passed off as a human voice, duplicate submissions, or collusion to game payouts.
- No impersonation — do not imitate or clone the voice of a specific, identifiable real person.
For AI teams (buyers)
- Use datasets only within the scope of your license.
- No re-identification of, or re-contacting, contributors.
- No resale or redistribution of raw recordings.
- No voice cloning or impersonationof any specific identifiable person without that person’s separate authorization.
- Honor deletion and withdrawal requests passed down from us.
Reporting and enforcement
Report misuse or a recording that should not have been made via our [TODO: report / trust & safety channel]. We may remove content, suspend accounts, and take further action for violations.
