Terms of Service
Last updated June 2026
These terms govern your use of Intispeak as a contributor or visitor. They incorporate the Voice Data License & Biometric Consent, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Privacy Policy. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who can use the service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
2. Independent contractor
You contribute as an independent contractor, not an employee. Nothing here creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship. You are responsible for your own taxes — see the tax information collected before payout.
3. The license you grant
When you record, you grant us the rights described in the Voice Data License & Biometric Consent, including the right to include your recordings in datasets licensed to AI companies for the specific, enumerated uses listed there.
4. Recording rules
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy — in particular, record only your own voice (and the voice of anyone who has consented in a conversation), and never include sensitive personal information in a recording.
5. Payment
- You are paid the posted per-minute or per-conversation rate for approved recordings.
- Approval is subject to quality review; rejected work is not paid.
- Earnings are subject to an anti-fraud maturity hold before they can be withdrawn, and to identity/tax verification.
- We may reverse, offset, or claw back amounts paid or pending for fraud, policy breaches, or rejected quality review. [TODO: link a full Payment & Payout Terms page.]
6. Withdrawal and two-party conversations
You may withdraw consent for a stored recording at any time and we will delete it. Conversation recordings involve two people: if either participant withdraws, the whole conversation (both sides) is removed from future use, and any pay still in the maturity hold for it may be reversed for both participants.
7. For AI teams (buyers)
Access to datasets is governed by a separate dataset license agreement.
8. Intellectual property
We own the platform and our trademarks. You retain ownership of your voice except for the license you grant us.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. [TODO: counsel.]
10. Limitation of liability
[TODO: liability cap and exclusions — counsel.]
11. Dispute resolution
[TODO: binding arbitration and class-action waiver, opt-out window, and carve-outs — counsel. Note BIPA / biometric-claim treatment.]
12. Governing law
[TODO: governing law and venue — counsel.]
13. Changes
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes.
