What happens to the videos and recordings you send

You send us a video or a recording. What happens next? This page tells you.

What the data is for

AI companies use real examples to teach their software and to test it.

• Videos of people doing everyday tasks teach robots how real work is done.
• Short videos of faces teach software to follow a face and recognise it.
• Recorded conversations teach software how people really talk.

The company that ordered the job gets your videos or recordings. It also gets the facts the job asked for. For example: your country, or your age group.

What is not in the data

Your name and your email address are not in the data the company gets.

Your face and your voice

Your face, your body and your voice are personal data. When you send a video or a recording with you in it, you agree to this:

• We store it.
• We give it to AI companies, under a licence, to train and test their software.

"Licence" means a written permission. The full text is on the data licence page. Read it before your first job.

Rules for every video

• Film only in places where you are allowed to film.
• Do not film other people without their permission. Each job says who may be in the video.
• Do not film screens, letters, documents, ID cards, bank cards, passwords, keys, or your address.

A video that breaks these rules is not approved.

Jobs inside another company's app

Some jobs run inside the app or website of the company that ordered the job. That company keeps those videos. The job page links to that company's rules.

What you can ask us

• You can stop at any time.
• You can ask us to delete a recording stored on Intispeak. We delete it. One exception: a recording that was approved and already given to a company in a dataset cannot be taken back.
• You can ask what information we have about you. You can ask us to delete your account. Use the data requests page.
